The Markham Revolution Volleyball Club is seeking to fill multiple coaching positions. A variety of volunteer and honourary opportunities are available, both for rep teams and development programs, which will require varying levels of time commitment and expertise.
Operating in North York and York Region the Markham Revolution VC is delivering quality and performance-based programs designed to encourage participation and a lifelong passion for the sport of volleyball. The Markham Revolution VC is a non-profit organization for youths aged 6-18 and committed to meet highest standards. Our competitive teams participate in Ontario Volleyball Association tournaments as well as the Ontario and Canadian Championships.
The main locations for practices are in Vaughan, Thornhill, Richmond Hill and Markham.
Honourary Positions
- Multiple Positions - Rep Team Head Coaches (11U-18U)
- Two Positions - Development Team Coaches (10U-12U)
- Two Positions - Coaches for REV League & Select Teams (13U-18U)
Volunteer Positions
- Rep & Select Team Assistant Coaches (12U-18U)
- Assistant Coaches – Development Programs, Skill Clinics and REV League
Internationally experienced coaches will mentor the successful candidates.
The coaching methods applied as well as the coaching tools utilized will be leading edge. The Club will provide financial subsidy towards formal coach development and certification.
Successful candidates must be committed to upgrading their coach certification level and enjoy working in a team of coaches. The positions will require the successful candidate to present a valid Police Information/Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search.
